Information on the processing of personal data in NIBE Uplink
NIBE AB, org. no. 556056-4485 (“NIBE”), processes your data in connection with services provided to you. We respect your privacy and therefor want to inform you about how we process personal data.

We process your data to provide you with the NIBE Uplink service. The legal basis for the processing of the personal data is the fulfilment of the agreement.
Where the smartphone app is used, we check the storage space on your device in order for us to download images from NIBE Uplink on your device. We may modify and erase the images we have downloaded. The images we use are the images that are displayed in NIBE Uplink's interface (e.g. icons and background images). The images are the property of NIBE. NIBE doesn't use images that are owned by you or access your camera. The purpose of the use of the images is to provide an efficient application. We need to collect the data to enter into an agreement with you. You don´t have an obligation to provide your data. If you don´t provide your data, we may not be able to provide you with the requested service. |

Who has access to your data?
We share your data with IT providers. Your data is also shared with invited individuals who you have provided access to. You can control the level of access for invited individuals and you can stop them from accessing your profile at any time. Data from NIBE Uplink may also be disclosed to other providers of applications that you choose, such as different types of smart home solutions. Your data is disclosed when you choose an application and link it to NIBE Uplink. NIBE can't control how the recipient uses your data. You are recommended to review the privacy policy of the recipient before connecting the application to NIBE Uplink. If you as a user have consented to a service partner having access to NIBE Uplink, your data will be disclosed to this service partner. |
Your rights
In accordance with data protection legislation, you have the right to request access to information about what personal data relating to you is being processed and to request that your personal data be corrected.
You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, to request that processing of your personal data be restricted, and to request that your personal data be erased. You can also lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (the Data Protection Authority).
In certain circumstances, you have the right to receive the personal data that relates to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transfer this data to another controller (data portability).
